Hi, I'm Lauren.

As the lefty in the family, and designated "creative one," I traveled an artistic path from an early age. My passion for crayons and colored pencils soon gave way to a love of typography and visual storytelling. My high school art teacher once said, "everything you see in the world is touched by a designer."  I took that as a call to action and never looked back.

After earning my BFA in Design at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, I headed to the big city. Chicago has been good to me, providing a wealth of creative experiences and learning opportunities, from boutique to large agency. Eventually my focus was drawn to marketing and promotion as a Senior Art Director at Frankel (now Arc Worldwide). The big agency dance awarded me critical skills in concepting, campaign and brand development, and creative rationale.

Next up, at Jack Morton Worldwide and Kindle Communications, I dove deep into the world of experiential marketing... and developed an understanding of how to make a live experience more engaging, compelling, and memorable. From digital engagements to set design, pre and post communication tactics, and everything in between... I bring an enthusiasm for all things live.

In my current chapter, I consider myself a visual storyteller for hire– ready to deliver clarity and emotion to your key audiences. If you've got a business that needs branding, a campaign that needs legs, a proposal that's begging for more than words, or just an idea that deserves to be visualized... Let's find a way to work together!
